Why connect Telegram to Google Sheets
Google Sheets is the first “CRM” of most small teams. Connecting it to a Telegram bot or Mini App is the cheapest way to capture leads, orders and bookings and to send reports back to the team.
How the integration works
- Auth. Service account with access to the sheet, or Apps Script.
- Inbound. Form answers and events appended as rows with timestamps and Telegram IDs.
- Outbound. Scheduled summaries and lookups sent to Telegram; Apps Script triggers for changes.
- Upgrade path. Same data model migrates to a CRM later.
Typical flows
- Mini App form → new row → team alert
- Daily sales digest to a channel
- Lookup order by number from the bot
