Telegram AI Chatbot Development

We build AI chatbots for Telegram that answer from your own documents and data, hand over to humans when needed and log every conversation to your CRM. Built on Claude, GPT or open-weight models with retrieval, guardrails and cost controls, delivered as a bot or embedded in a Mini App. Projects start at $4,000 and take 3–6 weeks.

Where AI chatbots pay off in Telegram

Telegram is where many customers already ask questions, especially in crypto, gaming, e-commerce in emerging markets and communities. An AI assistant that answers in seconds, in the user’s language, from your actual documentation, replaces a queue of repetitive tickets and qualifies leads around the clock. The economics work when the bot resolves 40–70% of conversations without a human, which is typical for support and pre-sales once the knowledge base is in place.

Use cases we build

  • Support assistant: answers from help docs, order and account data; escalates with context.
  • Sales assistant: qualifies leads, books calls, answers pricing questions, logs to CRM.
  • Community concierge: onboarding, rules, FAQ, moderation help in groups.
  • Product guide inside a Mini App: recommendations, search, step-by-step help.
  • Internal assistant: knowledge base for employees, report generation, approvals.

How we build it

  1. Scope and data. Which questions to answer, which to refuse, which to escalate. We collect documents, FAQs and product data and set measurable goals (resolution rate, CSAT, response time).
  2. Retrieval layer. Documents are chunked, embedded and indexed; answers cite sources. Structured data (orders, accounts) is accessed through tools with permission checks.
  3. Model and prompts. Model choice, system prompts, tone, multilingual behavior. We build an evaluation set of 100+ real questions and test every change against it.
  4. Guardrails and handover. Topic boundaries, PII rules, abuse handling, operator escalation with summaries.
  5. Integration. Telegram bot (grammY/aiogram), Mini App widget, CRM or helpdesk, analytics.
  6. Operations. Dashboards for cost per conversation, deflection rate and unanswered questions that should enter the knowledge base.

Cost control

LLM costs scale with usage. We route simple questions to cheaper models, cache frequent answers, cap tokens per conversation and give you a monthly budget alert. Typical support bots run at $0.02–$0.10 per conversation.

Data and compliance

Data stays in your accounts: model providers with no-training terms, or self-hosted open-weight models for sensitive data. Conversations can be stored in your region (US, EU, UK) to meet GDPR and similar requirements.

Combine with bot development for the full flow, or ask for a scoped estimate through the form.

* All prices and ranges on this page are indicative. The final cost is calculated for each project individually and depends on the complexity of the task, the number of developers and specialists required, and the delivery timeline you set. Use the ranges to understand the typical bracket, not as a fixed offer; the fixed price is confirmed in writing after scoping. Read our pricing terms.

Telegram AI Chatbot Development: FAQ

How much does an AI Telegram chatbot cost?
A support or FAQ assistant trained on your documents costs $4,000–$8,000. Sales assistants with CRM integration and multi-step flows cost $8,000–$15,000. Multi-agent systems with tools and workflows are quoted individually. Model usage is billed by the provider and is usually $50–$500 per month.
Which AI models do you use?
Claude and GPT models for most customer-facing bots; open-weight models (Llama, Mistral, Qwen) when data must stay on your servers. We pick per use case and can route between models to control cost.
Will the bot make things up?
We reduce this with retrieval from approved sources, strict instructions, citations in answers, refusal rules and an evaluation set we run before every change. For regulated topics the bot answers only from documents you approve and escalates everything else.
Can it hand over to a human?
Yes. Operators get the conversation in a shared inbox or in your helpdesk, with a summary and the reason for escalation. The bot resumes when the operator closes the ticket.
Does it work inside a Mini App too?
Yes. The same assistant can run in a chat with the bot and as a widget inside a Mini App, sharing memory and user context.
