What a Telegram Mini App development company does
A Telegram Mini App is a web application that runs inside Telegram’s in-app browser and talks to Telegram through the Web App SDK: it knows who the user is, matches their theme, can send data back to the bot, request payments and open native dialogs. Building one well means solving four things at once: product design for a chat-first audience, a frontend that behaves like a native screen on iOS, Android and desktop, a backend that validates every request against Telegram’s signed initData, and a bot that handles onboarding, notifications and deep links.
We do all four as one team. You get one contract, one project manager and one roadmap, and you do not have to explain Telegram’s rules to a generic web agency.

How the project runs
- Discovery (1–2 weeks). A workshop to define users, features and success metrics. Output: scope document, user flows, clickable prototype, fixed price and milestones. You can take this package to any vendor; most clients continue with us.
- Design (1–2 weeks). Screens in the Telegram design language using the official UI kit, or custom branding if the product needs it. Light and dark themes, iOS and Android variants, empty and error states.
- Development (3–12 weeks). Two-week sprints, each ending with a demo on a staging bot you can open on your phone. Backend, frontend, bot and payments are developed in parallel.
- QA. Manual testing on real devices across all Telegram clients, automated API tests, load testing for launches that expect traffic spikes from channels or ads.
- Launch. Production deployment behind Cloudflare, BotFather configuration, payments in live mode, analytics, launch checklist, listing in Telegram app directories.
- Support. Monitoring and SLA-based support from $490 per month, including updates when Telegram releases new Bot API versions.
Full details are on the process page.
Technology choices and why
- Frontend: React or Vue + TypeScript + @telegram-apps/sdk. The SDK gives us theme params, viewport events, the back button, haptics, cloud storage and
initData. We avoid heavy frameworks because Mini Apps open cold from a chat and must render in under a second on mid-range Android phones. - Backend: Node.js (NestJS) or Python (FastAPI). Every request carries the signed
initData; the backend verifies the HMAC against the bot token before trusting a user ID. Sessions, rate limits and idempotent payment handling are standard. - Bot: grammY or aiogram. Webhooks, inline mode, deep links with
startappparameters, broadcast campaigns with per-user throttling. - Payments: Telegram Stars, TON Connect, Stripe. Stars are mandatory for digital goods sold inside Telegram; card and crypto rails cover the rest. See payments integration.
- Infrastructure: your cloud account. AWS, Google Cloud or Hetzner, Docker, GitHub Actions, PostHog or Telemetree for product analytics.
What makes Telegram Mini Apps different from ordinary web apps
- Zero-friction identity. The user is already authenticated. Onboarding is a single screen, not a sign-up funnel.
- Distribution is built in. Channel posts, bot messages, inline sharing and Telegram Ads all open the app with one tap. Referral loops work because sharing a link is native behavior in Telegram.
- Platform rules. Digital goods must be sold via Stars, HTTPS is required, the app must work in every Telegram client, and spammy growth tactics get bots restricted. We design within these rules from day one.
- Performance budget. The app runs in a WebView that users expect to feel like Telegram. We keep bundles small, cache aggressively and use the native back button and haptics.
Who this service is for
- Founders validating a product where the audience already lives in Telegram (crypto, gaming, communities, creators).
- Brands and retailers adding a Telegram storefront or loyalty program next to their website.
- Companies with an existing bot that has outgrown button menus.
- Teams that tried a freelancer or a generic agency and need a vendor that knows the platform.
