TON and Telegram: why they fit
TON (The Open Network) is the blockchain Telegram chose for its Wallet, for Telegram Stars conversion and for ad revenue sharing with channel owners. A Mini App can ask the user to connect a wallet through TON Connect, and if the user has the built-in Telegram Wallet the flow stays inside Telegram. That removes the biggest obstacle in crypto UX: installing and funding a wallet.
For businesses this means payments without card processors, loyalty points that users can actually own and trade, game items with real scarcity, and access to a user base that already holds TON and USDT.
What we build on TON
Payments
- TON Connect integration with the Telegram Wallet, Tonkeeper and MyTonWallet.
- TON and USDT payments with backend confirmation via indexers, idempotent order handling and refunds.
- Hybrid checkout: Stars for digital goods (required by Telegram), TON for everything else.
Tokens and NFTs
- Jetton contracts with mint, burn and vesting controls.
- NFT collections for access passes, game items and certificates, with metadata hosting.
- Airdrop and claim contracts with Merkle proofs, snapshot tooling and Sybil filtering.
DeFi and marketplace logic
- Escrow for peer-to-peer deals inside Telegram communities.
- Staking and reward distribution.
- Swap and liquidity integrations with STON.fi and DeDust.
- Marketplaces for NFT items with royalties.
Backend and data
- Indexers for on-chain events, webhooks to your systems, caching for fast Mini App screens.
- Key management, deploy scripts, monitoring of contract balances and failed transactions.
How a TON project runs
- Design (1 week). What goes on-chain and what stays off-chain. Most products need only a fraction of their logic on-chain; the rest is faster and cheaper in a database.
- Contracts (2–6 weeks). Tact or FunC, unit tests in the TON sandbox, testnet deployment, gas profiling.
- Integration (2–4 weeks). TON Connect in the Mini App, backend confirmation, UX for pending and failed transactions.
- Audit and launch (1–3 weeks). Third-party audit, fixes, mainnet deployment, monitoring.
Compliance note
Token launches, custody and exchange features carry regulatory obligations that differ by jurisdiction (US, UK, EU MiCA, UAE VARA). We build the technology; legal structuring, licensing and listings are handled by your counsel and partners. We are happy to work alongside them from the design stage.
